2026 FALL WINTER DEER LEASE – OCTOBER NOVEMBER DECEMBER

SEASONAL HUNTING LEASE- AXIS DEER  & WHITETAIL DEER

Gillespie County, 5 miles from Fredericksburg, TX.

Approximately 200 acres of lease land. Landowners have 450 acres total so there is plenty of hunting privacy.

Specified days of hunting (57 total) in the months of October, November, December 2026.

Hunting dates are:

10/3/26 – 10/12/26

11/1/26 – 11/24/26

11/30/26 – 12/22/26

Paid Lease Hunters are allowed on the property for prep/set up/feeding beginning 9/19/26.

Lease cost is $18,000 for up to 4 hunters in your single group

$10,000 is due at the time of lease execution; $8,000 is due 7/1/26

HARVEST QUOTA PER HUNTER:

A total of 5 deer per hunter: 

1 WT buck, 1 axis buck, & 3 does (combination of WT & axis…2+1 or 1+2)

(This makes the total # of deer for a group of 4 hunters = 20 deer = 5 x 4)

1 turkey

Optional Trophy buck (either WT or Axis) for $2,500 extra--payment due at time of harvest (basically, this is a 3^rd buck that the hunter would like to get AFTER he has already gotten his quota of bucks, so the definition of a “trophy” is from the hunter’s perspective)

GUESTS

Guests are allowed—one guest per hunter.  A guest could be a friend, spouse, child or other family member. If a guest shoots a deer, that count comes off the lease host hunter’s quota.

BLINDS AND FEEDERS

Hunters must provide their own blinds & feeders. Some feeder pens available for your use.

CABIN

Recently renovated hunting cabin is included throughout the lease & offers a full kitchen, bathroom (sink, toilet, shower), 3 twin bunk beds (total of 6 beds), table, chairs, water, electricity, HVAC, 2 covered porches & lighted, electric gambrel for deer cleaning. A fully refundable cabin cleaning fee of $150 is required upon execution of the lease; this deposit will be mailed back to the Lead Hunter after passing cabin inspection after lease ends.

The cabin is not included during prep days; only for the hunting lease days.  However if your group finds lodging necessary during prep days, it is possible that the cabin could be available for rent while here for prep days.

DESCRIPTION OF LEASE LAND

The lease land is wooded pastureland. A creek runs throughout the property. There are 2 ponds/tanks on the lease property.  Trees:  oaks, mesquite, cedar, pecan, other. All fencing is low-fenced (including the neighbors) and one lease land boundary is the Palo Alto Creek.”
