Briscoe County Hunting Leases

Briscoe County is in the Panhandle/High Plains wildlife district of Texas along the eastern Caprock escarpment. The county comprises 887 square miles of irregular terrain ranging up to 3,300 feet in altitude; the elevation drops in Tule Canyon as low as 1,000 feet. The county has various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Mule Deer, Pronghorn, Hog, Quail, Pheasant, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, Duck and Goose. Silverton is its largest town, and the Mackenzie Reservoir and Caprock Canyons State Park are major recreational destinations.
