Burnet County Hunting Leases

Burnet County is in the Hill Country wildlife district of Texas and sits on its northeastern edge. Burnet, the county seat, is about fifty miles northwest of Austin. The county covers about 1,000 square miles of rolling hills and valleys. There are various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Exotics, Hog, Quail, Turkey, Predators, Dove and Duck. The county is at the center of the Highland Lakes Region with Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake, Lake LBJ and Lake Marble Falls attracting many visitors.
