Borden County Hunting Leases

Borden County is in the Panhandle/High Plains wildlife district of Texas at the edge of the Llano Estacado, seventy miles southeast of Lubbock and Gail is the county seat. The county has various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Mule Deer, Pronghorn, Hog, Quail, Pheasant, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, Duck and Goose. Muleshoe, the largest town in the county, hosts the Mule Days festival each August and the county fair every September. Muleshoe National Wildlife Refuge is a major recreation site.
