Tyler County Hunting Leases

Tyler County is in the East Texas Pineywoods wildlife district of Texas and comprises 908 square miles of densely forested timberland. The town of Woodville is the county seat and is about 90 miles northeast of Houston. The county has various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Alligator, Hog, Quail, Turkey, Predators, Dove, and Duck. Recreational activities include the B.A. Steinhagen Lake, Big Thicket National Preserve, Davy Crockett National Forest, and various cultural events and points of interest.
