Scurry County Hunting Leases

Scurry County is in the Panhandle/High Plains wildlife district, in the southern panhandle of Texas. The county comprises 904 square miles of plains with the town of Snyder as its county seat. The county has various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Mule Deer, Pronghorn, Javelina, Hog, Quail, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, Duck and Goose. Local attractions include Lake J. B. Thomas, Sandstone Canyon Indian pictographs, and various cultural events and points of interest.
