Brown County Hunting Leases

Brown County is in the North Central Texas wildlife district and is near the geographic center of Texas. The county covers 936 square miles, and the city of Brownwood hosts its largest population. There are various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Hog, Quail, Pheasant, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, and Duck. Lake Brownwood State Recreational Area offers recreational activities as well as many annual festivals.
