Aransas County Hunting Leases

Aransas County is in the South Texas wildlife district of Texas. The county, divided into three parts by Copano, St. Charles, and Aransas bays, and on the east by the Gulf of Mexico. The county offers an abundance of fishing and hunting opportunities, and game species include White-tailed Deer, Hog, Javelina, Alligator, Quail, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, Duck and Goose. Local attractions include Goose Island State Park, Copano Bay State Fishing Pier, the Rockport Beach, and the Texas Maritime Museum.
