Baylor County Hunting Leases

Baylor County is in the North Central Texas wildlife district and is about fifty miles southwest of Wichita Falls. The county was formally organized in 1879 with Seymour as its county seat. There are various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Hog, Quail, Pheasant, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, Duck and Goose. Recreational activities include the Old Settler's Reunion & Rodeo in July and Cruisin' the Brazos in October.
