Hartley County Hunting Leases

Hartley County is in the Panhandle/High Plains wildlife district, on the New Mexico border about fifty miles north of Amarillo. The county comprises 1,488 square miles of grassy prairie land with the town of Channing as its county seat. The county has various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Mule Deer, Hog, Quail, Pheasant, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, Duck and Goose. Local attractions include the Matador Cowboy Reunion, Lake Rita Blanca Park, and various cultural events and points of interest.
