Rains County Hunting Leases

Rains County is in the Post Oak Savannah wildlife district of Texas, with the town of Emory as its county seat. The county encompasses only 258 square miles of rolling grassland and timber and is about sixty-four miles east of Dallas. There are various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Hog, Quail, Turkey, Predators, Dove, and Duck. Attractions include Lake Tawakoni, Lake Fork, and various local events and points of interest.
