Grimes County Hunting Leases

Grimes County is in the Post Oak Savannah wildlife district of Texas and the county seat is the town of Anderson. The county encompasses 799 square miles of generally level and sloping terrain. There are various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Hog, Quail, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, and Duck. Attractions include an annual Renaissance Festival, Nostalgic Days, Gibbons Creek Reservoir and various festivals and points of interest.
