Wilbarger County Hunting Leases

Wilbarger County is in the North Central Texas wildlife district, with the town of Vernon as its county seat. The county encompasses 947 square miles of rolling plains about 35 miles northwest of Wichita Falls. There are various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Javelina, Hog, Quail, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, Goose and Duck. Attractions include various local events and points of interest.
