Bailey County Hunting Leases

Bailey County is in the Panhandle/High Plains wildlife district of Texas. It is part of the Southern High Plains and has an altitude of 3,800 to 4,400 feet above mean sea level. The county has various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Mule Deer, Pronghorn, Hog, Quail, Pheasant, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, Duck and Goose. Muleshoe, the largest town in the county, hosts the Mule Days festival each August and the county fair every September. Muleshoe National Wildlife Refuge is a major recreation site.
