Wichita County Hunting Leases

Wichita County is in the North Central Texas wildlife district, with the city of Wichita Falls as its county seat. The county encompasses 606 square miles of rolling plains about 144 miles northwest of Dallas. There are various game species for hunting including White-tailed Deer, Javelina, Hog, Quail, Turkey, Predators, Dove, Crane, Goose and Duck. Attractions include the North Fork Buffalo Creek Reservoir, Lake Arrowhead State Recreation Area, and various local events and points of interest.
