Weekend Deer and Turkey Hunts with Lodging on 600-acre in a Hill Country Historic Century Ranch located in the heart of Texas.   Get away to the rugged land of the Hill Country and Edwards Plateau. We're an easy escape from DFW, Houston, San Antonio and Austin and a stone's throw from Llano, Brady and Mason.  $4000 per weekend - includes up to max of 4 hunters.  Unlimited varmint hunting.  Stay in our historic country home which  includes the original stone structure from the 1860"s.  It's a great place to hang out with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a fully equipped kitchen.  Even a bunkbed for the kids. Plenty of room to spread out and unwind after the hunt! First established by our family in 1857, we are honored to continue the stewardship of our land with our children and grandchildren (the 6th generation enjoying the fruits of our ancestors' labors!). 

I am the owner/CEO of a hunting club, we are in our 30th year. We run 20 members on 2,000 acres, located in Hardin County, in the town of Honey Island, TX. I have a management team aids to sustain and develop our property and family culture. We harvest deer, hogs, bobcats and coyotes mostly, more importantly we make memories with our families and friends. There is nothing like telling them ole stories around the camp fire, seeing who brings back the biggest deer to camp. Every man should experience seeing his child harvest game, pride and emotion will overwhelm you. Nothing beats spending time in the woods with your loved ones. I look forward to hunting with all our members, one day passing this deer club down to my children to run. No power onsite, we use generators. We have a camp sites for campers, RV’s or tents. 365 day hunting access each year. Each paying member gets one area to hunt, we don’t micromanage the number of deer stands and feeders each member can have in their hunting area, it’s up to the member. We go with the Hardin County bag limit, 4 deer per member. A guest harvest 4 day weekend, is available Thursday-Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, each member can bring one guest to hunt their spot for the 4 days only, guest must have a valid TX hunting license, each guest can harvest one legal deer, unlimited hogs and unlimited predators during the 4 days. Spouse and immediate children in school, hunt at no additional charge, from the members spot. Feeding, planting and minerals are highly recommended. We have annual clean up days and meetings. Every member receives a window sticker, membership card, gate combination and rules/contract to sign for record keeping. Surveillance cameras are utilized on site and we maintain close relationships with the local State Game Wardens. My Grandpa was my hero and my hunting partner, we will continue to honor his vision of having an affordable, close and safe place for families to make memories. We maintain an active prospect waiting list and utilize a vetting/interview process. 

Normal hunting rate is $200 first day and $150 per each additional consecutive day, per hunter. Hurry while slots are available! The property is 9 acres and fully fenced, and is a mix of wooded/brush areas, clearings, 2 caliche pits, and trails. The property has deer that show up at the feeder (deer corn) most days (does and periodically bucks), hogs, turkey, small game like rabbits, and occasional predators. There are also turkey that that feed at an elevated turkey feeder. In addition to the feeders there is an elevated hunting blind for a single hunter, located about 35 yards from the deer feeder. The property is relatively small, so a single hunter for each lease period using bow or shotgun is preferred. I will allow 2 people as lessees on a single lease, assuming you will be safely working together. But I only allow one lease at a time (your lease would have exclusive use during the term of the lease). Limit of 1 deer or wild turkey per three-day lease period (or permit limit, whichever is less) but no harvest fees. Must remove the entire animal from the property, no carcasses or animal parts are to be disposed of on the property. There is no guarantee that you will be successful in harvesting an animal, the lease provides an opportunity, not a guarantee of success. Prices are $200 per day per hunter, or $350 per person for 2 consecutive days.
