We have a 3166 acre high fenced ranch in northern Maverick Co. We are MLD3, so we can hunt from Sept through February. We are looking for up to 3 hunters that are serious about growing big bucks, & can pass good bucks that are less then 6 1/2 years old. I am the owner & will be the 4th spot on the ranch. I don’t deer hunt, but will take my children hunting. We use most of the profit from the hunting & cattle lease to make improvements in the ranch that will help the animals. If you feel you need to take a trophy buck every year this is not the lease for you. We take our trophies at 6. 5 years old or older. We have cameras at all feed pens & target specific management bucks starting at 3 years old. The hunters will be asked to feed protein $ corn year round, cotton seed from January 15th to November 1. We have 9 feed pens for protein & cotton seed, 8 have 2,000 lb feeders, 1 has a 1000 lb feeder. We have 12 blinds in place with corn feeders. You will need to pay $10,000 plus your share of the feed bill. You can hunt any stand on a 1st come basis. You are allowed 1 trophy, 6 1/2 years or older, & any management buck that we identify from our trail cameras or that fit the management buck criteria for that year. We also have to take does. The number depends on our game survey. We have 6 tanks & 5 water sheds to provide water for the wildlife. Families are welcome. We have a covered cleaning area with walk-in cooler & feed shed. There is a covered, lighted cement area with sink & fire pit to relax after the hunt. You can park a trailer next to it or stay in the old ranch house. We have electricity. Water comes from rainfall catchment off the roof of our house. We are located about 12 miles southeast of Spofford, Tx. You access our ranch by taking a caliche road for 10 miles off FM1572. This is an annual whitetail trophy lease that I have been managing for the last 20 years. This is a long-term lease that has been protein fed for over 25 years.

We are interviewing for one trophy-minded hunter to join our lease.  This is a long time membership.  No bow hunting except for summertime hogs and javelins. There are RV hookups, water, and electricity.  There is an onsite cooler.  

Membership is $7500 a gun which is due in two payments.  The first payment of $4400 is due now and the second payment of $3100 is due on September 1st.  Your membership includes yourself, your spouse, and any children 18 years and under.

South Texas Trophy ranch.  Been under intensive management for decades.  Surrounded by big ranches and has deer proof fencing on three sides and the fourth is owned by the same owner and managed in the same manner.  All blinds, feeders and feed pen locations are on the property as well as feed silos, feed trailer, walk in cooler and 4 work vehicles.  Three earthen ponds are on the property in addition to wildlife watering stations at 1/2 mile intervals fed via underground water pipeline.  Only mature 7-8 year old bucks are harvested with live weights normally between 220 and 240 pounds.  Two mobile homes with bunk style bedding with central air/heat and Dish TV.  All protein, cottonseed and corn included in the lease price (last year fed 67 tons protein, 23 tons corn and 22 tons cottonseed).  Seldom have a vacancy most lease members have been on the property for years.  Lease members are expected to help fill feeders, work on blinds etc during Spring, Summer and Fall.

I have three privately owned ranches between Llano and Mason ranging from 100 acres to 500 acres each. I do not mix parties, so your group will have the entire lease. The price for the smallest pasture is $450 per day for up to 3 hunters, the middle size pasture is $500 per day for up to 4 hunters and the larger pasture is $1200 per day for up to 8 hunters. There is a 3 day minimum hunt. All pastures have cabins with electricity, beds, frig, table, chairs and running water. All have working corn feeders and three sided ground stands with roofs. I allow each hunter to kill 2 bucks in November and either 2 bucks or 1 buck and 1 doe in December. I allow bow hunting during October. The cost for bow hunting is $100 per day per hunter. I do not charge a kill fee. I do not allow 4-wheelers and ask that you only drive on established roads. There are openings available in November and December. We are shifting our business from day hunting to year round lease for a group of 10 hunters. The lease is a 8,000 acre year round lease in Webb County very close to Laredo. Classic South Texas brush and some root plow areas to open up the brush.The lease consists of three pastures, two partially high fenced. All pastures have water, good senderos and good roads. The lease cost is $9,500 which includes corn and all camp fees and insurance,. This a 9 member lease with 2 openings. All members have equal access to all hunting locations. All hunting locations are set up and ready to hunt.  We have 18 hunting locations. Lease is under MLDP Level 3 permit for the last 9 years. This allows us to begin hunting in October. All trophy are expect to at least 6.5 yrs of age or older. We are feeding protein year round ( Double Down) and are bringing water to all the feed staions. There around 18 feeding stations on the ranch with all but a couple of them penned. We are continually doing bulldozer work maintaing senros and roads. We will be rolling chopping this year. Ranch regularly produces bucks in the 150's-170class deer. Past lease members have taken deer in the 170's. Guest are allowed. Members are allowed to take one trophy buck. There are many culls(140 class) and does on the lease for members and guest to hunt.  Dove and duck hunting can be great. Also hogs are available. 

The camp is very safe and clean. Forman live next to camp and looks after all trailers and gear. Camp has water, septic and hook ups and well as room for hunting vehicles. Laredo is 5-10 minutes away and lodging is available very close. 

All existing members are in there 40's and all professionals and have families. We are management mind group looking to grow big South Texas trophies whitetails.
