Approximately 9000 acre Polk County managed lease and we are looking for a group of good, solid, safe family oriented hunters. Our goal is to strive for a safe family atmosphere that allows for great fellowship and memories all while adhering to a strict Harvest Program to reach our goals of an improved herd with quality animals. We are very serious about our Deer Management so if you are looking for a “meat” lease, or a “brown and down” lease, or you cannot watch a 4 ½-5 ½  year old 10 point walk by without having to shoot it, this lease is not for you. If you want to go to deer camp to party and drink all weekend, this is not the lease for you. Our members must be able to get along with others and follow the rules. The coming season will be our 8th year on the property and we have long term plans to make improvements to both the facilities and to the quality of our deer herd over time. Our Deer Management plans have taken us to Level III in the MLDP program. Our membership includes the immediate family at home and under 21. Without our kids involved, we have no hunting future. We limit the family to 5 deer total, with only one being a mature animal. Two stands per membership that must be approved prior to placement by our stand manager.  There are two work weekends a year to plant food plots and clean-up. There is easy access to property off of a State Highway approximately 65 miles from Humble area and good internal road system. If you are interested, please contact us for an interview. Lease will be year round with small game, hogs, and deer. Dues this upcoming year will be $2150 per family membership plus a one-time $100 Camp Ground Improvement fee to help build and maintain our electrical structure.  Hooking into the electrical system will be $100 per year for electrical cost.  If you will be leaving a camper/trailer on the property year round, there is an additional $150 per year per structure required from the owners.  For further information and interview please contact Duke.
