I am looking for a year-round/ lease within 5 hours of DFW in Texas for 1-4 hunters. I am looking for a place that I can be on for a long time and can start bringing my son with me once he is old enough. He is 1.5yrs old now (I attached pics of he and I as well as the last buck I shot up near Vernon, TX). I have several friends that are in a similar position. Some bow hunt exclusively, others gun and bow hunt. I am all for creating or continuing a management system for the lease. I also have a bird dog, so I would like the ability to bring him out and hunt quail and dove in the spring and fall. Additionally, I would like to be able to hunt turkeys in the spring.

Would prefer a place with a cabin, or electric and water hook-ups. Acreage wanted would depend on how many hunters total would be allowed on the property. Ideally no more than 1 gun for every 100 acres. I would really like to not spend more than $1500/gun, but understand what I am asking, and could possibly go a bit higher, if I/we REALLY like the place. I will definitely want to come out and see the place before I commit, but I would hope that everyone would want to do that. I would be able to commit to putting feed/food plots out year-round to help keep the game on the property.

The last lease I was on (prior to the one I am currently on in AR) I was at for 30+ years, so when I say that I want to stay a LONG time, I mean it. I hope this idea appeals to a land owner. Please contact me either by phone or email if you have anything like this available, or know someone who might. Contact info is below. Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Sean Connelly
